バンドメイトでもある角田氏が営む洋服屋、BUTTON UP CLOTHINGで出会ったとあるブランド。ここ2年間新作が届く度に手にし、愛用させてもらっています。
いつかお店のスタッフシャツを、この惚れ込んだTシャツのボディで作りたいなと考えておりました。
ようやく実現したこの企画。サイズ展開はXS-S-M-Lの4サイズ。
ブラック、セージグレー、オフホワイト。
今回チョイスしたのはインド産高級綿、マハバーラを使用した国内生産のボディ。コットンはその繊維長によってランク分けされますが、高品質に分類されるマハバーラは非常に長い繊維を持ち、超長綿ならではの光沢感、肌に馴染む着心地は格別。滑らかで繊細な表情を持ちながらも、ガンガン洗って着れる耐久性も兼ね備えたハイスペックTシャツです。材質はもちろんコットン100%。ボディの品質の高さも相まって水性、ラバーともにプリント乗りが良く、着込んだ際の変化も楽しみながら長くご愛用いただけます。ボディ自体のオンスは軽く、締め付けの少ないパターンですので、夏場など着衣がストレスになる時期も快適に着ていただけます。ブラックのボディには生成りのラバープリント、オフホワイトのボディには墨黒の水性プリント、セージグレーのボディには灰白のラバープリントとそれぞれに個性的なカラーリング。

The price might seem a bit high, but these shirts are the much-anticipated result of a long process and we are very happy with how they’ve turned out. Available in limited numbers. Please inquire for more info.
The shirts are produced by a Japanese clothing brand sold at Button Up Clothing, a clothing shop in Hirosaki owned by my friend and band member Yusuke Kakuta. These shirts have become a staff favorite over the past two years, and I’ve wanted to offer shirts with the same fit and comfort that we’ve enjoyed so much. Finally I’m happy to say I can. Available sizes are XS, S, M, and L. Available colors are black, sage grey, and off-white.
The shirts are made in Japan from Mahabar cotton, a high-quality cotton from India. Cotton quality is ranked based on the length of its fibers, and very high-quality cotton such as Mahabar cotton possesses extremely long fibers making it feel brilliantly smooth to the touch and allowing it to drape with excellent form on the wearer’s body. These are truly top-shelf t-shirts that possess a delicate smoothness yet are durable enough to withstand machine washing. The material is of course 100% cotton. The superb construction of the body coupled with the water-based and rubber-based print graphics will age and change subtly over a period of long wear, which we’re sure you’ll enjoy as the shirt remains in your rotation for many years. The weight of the shirt is light and is perfectly comfortable to wear in summer or other stressful times. The black shirt features unbleached rubber print; the off-white shirt features water-based black ink print; and the sage grey version features ash-colored rubber print giving each version a unique flair.
