今日は少し長いです。お時間のある時に是非。
The 時差ボケ。4時AM起床。
9時にミラノセントラルステーションへ。列車でスイス、チューリッヒ近郊の町、ヴィンタートゥールへ向かう。
今回の旅は旅程を決めていない。いくつかの例外を除けば、地図とにらめっこ、気の赴くままに、である。
まず感動したのは、リアル「世界の車窓から」さながらの絶景。
スイスの山間を列車は走る。
写真は、、撮影能力の無さもあり、実際の10分の1も良さをお伝えできない。悪しからず。
下車。感想、寒い！
本当に寒い。試しに計測。-4℃。体感はもっと寒いけど。。
噴水が凍ってるのって初めて見た。
しかし車窓から雪が見えた瞬間に感じた安堵感はなんだろう。北国生まれの性か。
徒歩でホテルを探しチェックイン。
なんとそこは2階、3階がホテル、1階がPUB兼ライブハウスという完璧なシチュエーション。よし、今日はツイてる。早速スイスの地ビールを2杯。ウマイ。
しかしこのままだとここから離れる理由がない。腐っても旅人、と無理矢理寒空の下散策。美しい街並み。
歩き疲れ夕飯を、と思いPUBの店員に尋ねたところ、目の前が郷土料理を出すレストラン。
これまたここから離れる理由がない。笑
スイスの郷土料理といえばこれ。チーズフォンデュ。
美味しゅうございました。
さて夜はどうしたものか、と悩んでいると先ほどのPUBの店員さん、「21時からライブあるから見ていきな、ま、泊まってるなら部屋にいてもきっとうるさくて眠れないけどね」だって。
今日はもう、この場所から離れるなってことだね。
ちなみにライブしたバンドはノルウェーのLintっていうポストロックバンドだった。
そうそう、知らずに予約したホテルだったんだんだけど、レストランにあった地元の情報誌によると、
「歴史的街並みの中心に位置する。たくさんの有名ミュージシャン、パールジャム、シェリルクロウ、ランディニューマンなどがここのホテルに宿泊している。尚、宿泊者はライブ鑑賞無料のサービス。」
完璧！
今夜の僕の部屋は最上階の1番奥の部屋だから、もしかするとエディーヴェーダーも泊まった部屋かもな。。
Got up at 4am because of jet lag.
Took a train from Milano central station to Winterthur, Switzerland.
FYI, I haven’t fixed plan and schedule for this adventure so far besides some exceptions. Walking around wherever I wish.

I left speechless since the scenery outside of the train window was AMAZING, but it’s so disappointing that I’m not good at taking pics..

It’s soooo cold out here. Felt much colder than winter time of Hirosaki.
I don’t know why but it is. I’ve never seen the fountain is frozen like this!

I didn’t know till I came here but this hotel is perfect for me because the second and third floor are hotel rooms, and the first floor is PUB!
I take a walk right after coming every town usually but it’s no reason to walk around if I already know where the PUB is..
Ok, how about asking the PUB man that where the good food is?
They said good restaurant is in front of this hotel.
No reason to walk around again.
In the end, they told me there is a live concert here tonight. OK, I GAVE UP TO GO FOR A WALK TODAY.
Had a local food, cheese fondue at the restaurant they recommended and I found information magazine of Winterthur. The magazine said,,
「Situated in the middle of picturesque Old Town. Many famous musicians including Pearl Jam, Sheryl Crow, Randy Newman have rested in our room. Free admission to concerts and parties for hotel guests」
That’s completely perfect for me!
