スウェーデン・ストックホルム3日目。
基本的に旅程は全く決めていないんだけど、ゆっくり電車に乗りたいな、ということで西に向かって乗ってみる。
揺られること約3時間、ベーネル湖という湖に面したカールスタードって小さな街。
湖を見に行ったら強い雨が降ってきたのでPUBを見つけてゆっくり過ごす。こんな日もある。
自分がなにか特別な才能を持ち合わせていると思わないけど、短時間でいい飲み屋を探す嗅覚だけは褒めてやりたい。
それにしてもフィンランド、スウェーデンと北欧の国は話に聞いた通り、物価が高い。
写真は駅で済ませた今日の朝食、アボガドラップとホットコーヒー、これで860円。
日本だと400円くらいで買えるかな？
キヨスクで買ってこの値段だから、カフェとかレストランに入ると、簡単な朝食でも1300円くらいはかかる印象。
何せ消費税がスウェーデン25%。フィンランド24%。
日本は10%引き上げで大変な騒ぎ、そして軽減税率の煩雑さが謳われているけれど、そこは北欧も区別されてる。スウェーデンを例にすると
基本的には25%、ただし、レストランや食品、生活必需品は半分の12%。さらに本、映画、スポーツなど文化的価値のあるものは6%！
でもやっぱり大きな違いは高福祉高負担だってこと。
医療と教育にほぼお金がかからない。大学まで全部タダって凄いですよね。国による、未来への投資。
(ちなみにフィンランドは子供達の学力が世界1位。さらには宿題がないらしいですよ！)
物価、税が高いのは旅行者にとったら少し辛いけど、北欧の人達、本当に優しくておおらかで、幸福度が高いのが見てとれる。
生きているだけでお金がかかるってよく言われるけど、それにしても「生きる」ってどういうことなんだろう。

The day 3 in Stockholm.
I don’t have a determinate plan for next destination but I just feel like getting on a train.
So got on a train and after 3 hours ride, it took me a town called Karlstad facing a lake!
Went to see the lake and then started raining hard. Found a PUB and got drunk for a while.
I don’t think I’m gifted person but just one thing I can be proud of is good at finding nice PUB even it’s at first place.
By the way.
I’ve heard of that but prices for everything is high in Northern Europe.
Look at the pic. This is my breakfast I bought at a kiosk. Avocado roll and coffee cost me 860yen!
I guess it costs half price at Japanese convenience stores!
That expensive even at a kiosk so would be twice at restaurants.
This is quite a natural thing because VAT is 25% in Sweden!
I know that now Japanese people complain about our consumption tax which is raised to 10% this month but over twice of it in most of the countries in Northern Europe.
The difference is the social welfare systems.
Most things about education and medical care are free around here and those are the rewards for their high taxes.
It’s pretty tough for tourists like me but I feel people in these counties look very happy and kind, nice to me as well.
What is real rich, happy life for human beings??
